ABOUT

Edward earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Behavior from the University of Georgia in 2010 and went on to receive a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Mercer University in 2015. Following graduation, Edward practiced in outpatient orthopedic clinics in Greensboro, Georgia and St. Simons Island, Georgia from 2015 to 2018.
During this time, Edward completed Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) training with a medical specialty, expanding expertise in performance-based rehabilitation. Edward is also certified in myofascial trigger point dry needling and utilizes a multifaceted approach to therapy that includes soft tissue mobilization, mobility work, and progressive strengthening to help patients achieve optimal function and long-term results.
Edward is the founder of Bolt Performance, established in January 2019. The practice began with two full-time clients who were members of the PGA Tour and has since grown to serve 10 full-time professional golfers, supported by a contract clinician since 2024.
Edward has worked extensively within elite performance environments, collaborating closely with each athlete’s team—including swing coaches and strength and conditioning professionals—to create an integrated, athlete-centered approach to care. From 2019 to 2025, Edward traveled approximately 25–32 weeks per year on the PGA Tour, providing on-site care and performance support.
During this time, Edward was part of two Ryder Cup teams and two Presidents Cup teams, with clients collectively earning 15 PGA Tour victories. Over the course of this tenure, Edward has worked with numerous PGA Tour professionals, including Keith Mitchell, Sepp Straka, Sam Burns, Max Homa, Denny McCarthy, Harry Higgs, Luke List, Justin Lower, Joel Dahmen, Adam Long, and Tom Kim.
Edward brings this same collaborative, performance-driven mindset to every athlete and patient, utilizing a comprehensive approach that integrates soft tissue mobilization, mobility work, progressive strengthening, and sport-specific performance strategies.
In preparation for 2026, Edward made the intentional decision to transition Bolt Performance into a local practice in order to spend more time at home with family while continuing to deliver the same high level of care. This next chapter reflects a commitment to sustainability, balance, and long-term excellence in patient outcomes.
Bolt Performance now offers mobile, concierge-style physical therapy services, bringing high-quality, individualized care directly to clients. This model is designed to maximize convenience, flexibility, and personalized attention while maintaining a performance-driven, collaborative approach to rehabilitation and movement health.
